A steady job, and a question that kept coming back
Before Sattvik Mitra, Kavan had a regular job and a regular plan. There was no family business waiting for him, no farmland, no relative in the spice trade. What he had was a curiosity about things that grow: how a leaf becomes a powder, and how a root pulled from a field in India ends up inside a capsule on the other side of the world.
The more he learned about that journey, the more one thing bothered him. The buyer, the person whose product and reputation depend on the ingredient, is often the last to know what really happened along the way.
